Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey guys, I searched forum and couldn't find a solution for a rather annoying problem my friend has. Also, I tried to post few hours before but for some reason couldn't, so if there's a double post I apologize. I've been playing since opening, and my friend joined me yesterday. However, he has thick purple lines appear across his screen. You can see them in video he uploaded (recorded by phone from screen so bad quality, but you can still see the problem). His graphic card is not the issue here as he can still run other games normally. Can someone pls help him solve this annoying issue?

Has he tried making sure all his drivers for his graphics card is up to date?

I don't even know why we didn't think of that. It actually worked Probably because no other game had issues. Thank you so much for the help
