Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello.

My character name is "Alrithin" level 23 ( i think now ) warrior.

I loaded my wow. I for absolutely no reason just started typing random letters in login screen..

I did this a few times and it said this account was banned. I thought "No way i just found a random banned account
by typing in random letters"

But then i actually tried to really login to MY account...and it said i was banned...

I have not hacked, caused any problems and i am very confused.

So you just started typing in random usernames and passwords? That doesn't seem very smart...

I don't know what anti-hack protection Nostalrius has implemented, but it doesn't seem too far fetched to me that you've just gotten yourself banned.

I'm not an expert on wow server, but what you did was send a bunch of login requests, for different accounts, all from the same ip address. If I was an sysadmin and saw that kind of traffic, I'd shut you out aswell...

I checked your character. It's not banned. You tripped the bot sensor. It'll be good after ~30m from not attempting logging in.

I've played around with this when I was making my troubleshooting guide. If you intentionally type in wrong letters/numbers on a legit account, you get a sort of a "global" temporary ban; meaning you could intentionally trip the anti-hack prevention on one account, but it actually applies to all accounts, even those you didn't intentionally type wrong letters/numbers for. I guess it's a way to keep a botnet from trying too many times on one account and simply moving onto another account when the temporary ban gets triggered.

Nothing to do but wait out the 30 minute temporary ban.

Could it be you were attempting to use peoples forums names and try a password cracker? Who decides to make fake usernames and password for no reason whatsoever.
