probably because the last time someone bothered to stop and kill you you just camped your own corpse as a ghost, waited for the npc to respawn, revived, oneshotted him and then got killed

I spent so much time on this server because i assumed that since it was advertised as a vanilla server under a vanilla PvP ruleset that i would not get banned for doing things allowed under that ruleset.
Safespotting was banned because there was proof that blizzard did in fact suspend people for that.
I have yet to see proof of blizzard banning for this PRE-BC

Do you realize how inane and stupid that sounds?
If everyone had that mindset the server would be in flames and it'd be as dead as Kronos. Some social guidelines exist and in 99.99% of the cases it is perfectly fine to let the players regulate it between themselves. If a rogue pockets that 100g BoE that was in your lockbox and walks off then that's a pretty harsh dick move but you can move on.
If one lone asshole dedicates almost twice as much as an average work week just to griefing low level players and playing around the PvP aspect / other players trying to deal with him by being dead for the most part, then admin intervention is necessary.
