Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Whenever I try to open WoW I get a black screen for a second, then it minimalizes, and when I try to reopen it from the taskbar, I get the same problem (with a second of sound), I tried to match the config and Realmlist files etc, but I really don't know why this happens.

Also, try deleting any contents in the World of Warcraft Classic\Interface\AddOns folder, set your WoW shortcut to run as an administrator, and check your monitor's resolution and make sure it isn't set to something weird like 1366x768. If it is, try changing to a common resolution, like 1920x1080.

No everything is fine, but I experience the same problem with Heroes of the Storm.

Open your WoW folder then open the WTF folder. Double-click the file "config.wtf," open it in notepad, highlight everything, and copy/paste its contents here. At the same time, check what resolution your monitor is currently running. I'd like to compare what the config file has versus what your computer is actively running.

The first time I installed it I had one, now I don't, but the resolution matched with mine, and does with all other games I play (1280x1024), also the realmlists matched etc, but there was no option to start it in windowed mode, as I also noticed this problem with Tomb Raider, it won't go fullscreen, or it opens in a very small window that acts like fullscreen.

You seriously don't have a config.wtf file in your World of Warcraft Classic\WTF folder? That's really strange. Where's WoW installed to on your computer, C:\Program Files (x86) ? Try making a new config file manually: right click inside the WTF folder > New > Text document > Name it "config." Open your newly created text document file. Copy/paste the following inside the file and save. Rename the file from .txt to .wtf if necessary. In the end, you should have a file labeled "config.wtf" inside your WTF folder and if you open it in Notepad, you should have all the text below that you copied and pasted. Try opening WoW and see what happens.

I found out what's wrong, when I get the black screen I just have to click a few times (also works with Heroes of the Storm), I think it's another program trying to prevent it from going fullscreen.
