changed password not working

Hey i changed my password using the .acc password oldpassword newpassword newpassword and it said it worked when i was in game. I logged right after using the command and now the new password nor the old password will work. I never usually post on forums but I really need some help. My account is dann9109, hopefully somebody can figure this out im buggin.

too many "wrong" passwords = temp ban to prevent brute forcing the password.... wait for a gm / staff reply on your password issue and good luck

thanks for the reply gives me some hope....but i definitely dont know what my password is then because I tried the new password and the original i dont imagine they ban after one wrong password

I have tested the account change password on my account and I could say it is working without any issues.
the command used to change the password:

.acc password old_pass new_pass new_pass

Explaining the change password command:
open chat and type: .acc "space" password "space" old_pass "space" new_pass "space" new_pass
between every word in command line use only 1 space, if you have more these will be added as character for the password.
.acc password = command to change the password for the current account
old_pass = the current password for the account
new_pass = your new password the you want to add to your account


After I received the confirmation in chat that my password has changed,


I pressed "exit game" button, waited 20 seconds and I started the game again.




Login with the new password and everything was working correctly.
You also have to consider that password must be not longer than 15 characters. If you set a password longer than 15 characters, the server will accept it, but the client will not let you insert it, he is limited to 15 characters.

Thanks for your reply but I did exactly that. Although I was very careful as I imagined it's a sensitive command I must have made a mistake because it is not working therefore I still need to recover my password.

Did you use a very long password? There is an invisible limit of 15 characters.
