Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I just installed Nostalrius and tried to launch the application, I get the message 'World of Warcraft was unable to start up 3D acceleration. Please make sure DirectX 9.0c is installed and your video drivers are up to date. I tried launching retail wow and it works, which would mean my drivers are up to date. Can anyone help? thanks

Could try double checking your graphics card drivers? Vanilla WoW and retail WoW are vastly different in terms of APIs; just because retail WoW works with your current drivers doesn't mean vanilla WoW will work with them. There's been several threads where people experienced graphical issues that was solved by updating their graphics card drivers.
