Question about gold trading

Hello Nost community and GMs.

Since I didn't find any valid answer in any related topics on the forums, I decided to ask this myself.

I'd like to know how are the GMs looking on the issue of trading gold between 2 players within a guild? By that I don't mean gold selling, but legitimate help between guildies to support each other, let them be IRL friends, friends from online community or generaly just 1 guy helping a new guy to esnure hes ready for raiding faster.
Judging by the responses on the forums, it seems like the GMs have no pin-point tool to check whether some1 is gold selling or just trying to help others (cuz he has nothing else to do aside raids, but to farm stuff/gold/items, etc.).
Since I started here, I already recieved some gold from one of my friends, then I learned about the strict policy towards gold trading, got a bit scared for my account and the time dedicated to it, so I'd like to get a serious answer from the Gms regarding this, so I avoid any possible trouble in future (or gettign someone else into trouble with me). and that's talking about helping some1 to obtain a specific item, not use the gold to destabilize market for specific regent/consumable on AH and f*uck the rest of the players that way.
Normaly on other projects or retail servers, I used to recieve and often give out gold/items/consumables to others to support the guild and my close friends, so we could progress faster and enjoy the content more. I don't support gold selling, but I find help from a friend pretty harmless.

Would it be possible to get a reply from a GM on this?

Thank You in advance. Have a jolly good day:).

not a GM, but they have pretty good tools for determining when an activity is "gold selling" vs. when people are helping their friends.

for example, a lot of my guild members have hit 40 in the last week. there has been a ton of redistribution of money as people buy their mounts and help friends by their mounts. unsurprisingly, no one has been banned because it's easy to look at history between characters and chat logs between characters.

if you're not doing anything maliciously, you have nothing to worry about. if your "friend" happened to give you gold after you slipped him some bills on Paypal, then you should be concerned.
