Rollbacks,can something be done?

Is there anything to be done about these extremly annoying rollbacks? It is very frustrating losing skill points or items everytime a crash and rollback occurs,especially with the extremly high population,and mining nodes are so hard to come by. I just lost 4 silver ore and a skill point due to rollback,yesterday i lost several quest items,and i had to do the quests again..

So, is this something we need to get used to,or are owners fixing this?

From what I understand all we can do about it is live with it. They're not even that big of a deal. I've been cheated out of some loot, but I've also gotten some loot from them. It's just part of the server. Accept it, or move back to retail </3 and we dont want you to go back to retail.

didnt say it was a big deal,said it was kinda annoying,but hey its free,so what do i care.. And i did use a rollback to get a limited vendor recipe,saved me from camping the dude.

Just wanted to know if this is something we need to accept or of it will get fixed

You can't really 'fix it' without fixing the server crashing itself.
That being said, if you're with a friend, just trade 1 copper around everytime something significant happens (ie you turn in a bunch of quests, get a drop or whatever). This'll make the server save your character.
Or just trade a random 1c and accept, odds are he'll accept too.
Not a perfect fix of course, but a minor workaround.
