Not sure why I was banned?
Hoping this is a temp ban from multiple login failures or something else non-serious

The account named StrontiumDog has never been banned. Wait 15 minutes and make sure you're entering the correct password.

Im still having trouble logging in. Whenever I log in I either get the 'Unable to connect' message or it says my account has been closed.
I have tried reinstalling the game and making a new account but both problems still persist.
I am 100% sure my password is correct and that the realmlist is alright.

The 'Unable to connect' message usually means that you're entering an incorrect password. After a few failed attempts then you'll get temporarily locked out.

For anyone else who has this problem:
Go to the user control panel on the forums and reset your password/ choose a new password. This worked instantly for me.

Your forum account is not connected to your in-game account. You probably just entered the correct password this time.
