Dark Iron Legacy quest

hey everyone, sorry if this has been asked and answered before, but i couldn't find anything about the topic

for some reason, i cannot seem to be able to accept this quest from Franclorn Forgewright's ghost

since the last update, he is invisible to alive players (like he should be), but now he will not give me a quest when i try to talk to him while i am dead

i have definitely not finished the quest before, and i don't already have it in my quest log
i am lvl 59 as i am typing this, and there is no requirement/pre-quest to this as far as i know

so if any1 could give me some guidance, that would be highly appreciated. probably there's a simple answer, but i can't seem to find it

Please delete your WDB folder then relaunch the game. Next time you die you will be able to accept the quest.

This happened to me now as well.
I followed instructions and it still doesn't fix it. I can't interact with Franclorn Forgewright at all. I have deleted the WDB folder. I have tried while dead and while alive. I have also tried with no addons.

What should I do now?

To fix the problem I logged into a different computer, and had no problems accepting the quest. Once accepted I had no other problems using my main computer to complete the quest.
