I travel a lot for work and I was just wondering if having a diff IP address because I am staying in different hotels all over Europe and Russia. I do not want this to affect my account so I will refrain from logging on if that is the case. I just do not want to do something against ToS as I see a lot of posts of people getting banned was wondering if this was a reason?

Please help.

Not an admin, but I can share my two cents on what I've seen here. You see a lot of posts of people "getting banned" because that is mostly what the support forum is dedicated to: account issues. Anybody who violates the Terms of Use and gets their character or account banned is likely to start a thread here hence why there are a lot of ban inquiries, but nearly all of them are for infractions committed against the server rules.

As far as I know, there's nothing against the rules for logging in from different IPs due to personal reasons such as travel. Having multiple IPs could possibly draw attention to an account, but that is only likely in the event the account is engaged with suspicious activity (E.g.: Gold buying/selling, account sharing, etc.). As long as you're not violating any rules plainly laid out in the Terms of Use, you will be fine.
