Unable to connect PLEASE HELP

I have been getting the message unable to connect for about a week now, I have tried opening ports, running in admin mode, deleting my interface, WTF file, & WDB file along with restarting my network connection, and shutting down and trying to reopen, I have even tried uninstalling the game to reset it back to normal.. I have logged in on a friends accounts on my wow, but mine is unable to connect. I don't know what to do, and this is extremely frustrating trying to play this server. PLEASE someone help me.

Have you tried resetting the password?

It's all over the forums. They even made an announcement about it; not sure how you can't find it.

Last I heard, there's a 24 hour cooldown on it, but I'm not sure if that's since the last password reset or when the account was last played/logged in.

Can you try simply logging in on the website (Not doing the password reset) and seeing if it'll show you your account information? If it does, it'll show you the IP it was last logged in from and the last timestamp it was actively played. Compare this to your IP to know if the account's been stolen/hacked.

I had my friend log in for me, so I know it hasnt been stolen. Just frustrating how there is no help for this.. a lot of people are having this problem.

Are you using a different 1.12.1 client from your friend? Are you connecting with the official Nostalrius client/install or are you using a client/install from another private server?

I used the official one, then it started messing up, then downloaded phenix's and it messed up on that too. he can log in my account on his computer completely fine. im using the client he is using

Is the error "Unable to connect" ? If so, you're possibly typing in your password wrong. Can you confirm that you can login to your own account on the website (http://en.nostalrius.org) and not include your friend in any of this? Just seeing if you typed it in correctly whereas your friend can just copy and paste the password.
