Account password seems to have been changed?

Strange.

When I try to change my password to my account via the website I seem to be unable, on account of someone else having access to my account. ...wat?

So based on this logic: If someone gains access to my account, they maintain access to my account because.... hello.... they have access to my account. Why offer to register an email address if it serves no purpose?

I have access to the email address associated with my account. What gives?

ce qui est logique

The password reset feature isn't designed to recover stolen/hacked accounts. It's intended to help those who legitimately forgot their password and haven't been hacked or stolen. If anyone does in fact recover a stolen account through it, they are simply lucky.
