I can't login into Classic WoW ... what should i do?

Well i have heard many times that Classic was better than any other expansion and I thought, hell maybe I should have a crack at it. But when i have created an account for it and when i got in, i can not seem to login as i put the information in, for the account name idk if i put my E-mail or my Login Name, even if i did put in my Emal it wouldn't fit.
What should i do?

Have you followed the instructions in the
Beginner's Guide 2.0? It literally tells you to create a game account and use that account name to login; nothing about using an e-mail address to login.
