Dire Maul solo? Bug or not?

Hello, just found new "farming method" for hunters and i dont think it should work like that. I talk about Dire Maul North and making solo tribute run when you are hunter. So you can sneak to the last boss with invisible potions and kill it solo with evading Cho'Rush(Ogre mage). Question: should that Feigh Death which evade caster boss work like that(King remains in combat and caster goes away)? I have an idea that should reset whole event, not half of it, lol. With that bug(or not) hunters can do 60-80g per hour non-stop. What do you think about it?

Only problem I can see is being able to split Cho'Rush and the King. And this problem is evident with a number of other bosses and groups in the game that should otherwise be chained.

Not sure about your claim of 60-80g per hour tho. The video is sped up, it probably takes at least 15-20 minutes in real time to do the run and that's if you do it flawlessly and make no mistakes - there are a number of scenarios where mistakes can occur and that would cost you time and money. You also need seaforum charges/bs keys for the pre-captain door.

There is no problem and here's the reasoning:
1. Most classes can grind 60g/h in the outdoors.
2. Like Solmyr states, DMN solo run takes skill and minor investment, these are things that should be rewarded

Yeah, thats not about solo grinding. I know every party evade this ogre mage the same way and do their runs much easier than it should be.
Main problem is broken mechanic with reseting part of event, im not sure it worked like this in retail, makes no sense in tribute run if its so easy, when should get harder. Thats what i want bring to admins.

To be honest I have no idea if it should work like that or not.

However, even if it shouldn't and they fix the split pull (split pulls are a hunter speciality) you can still solo it by viper Cho and kiting. It takes maybe five minutes more to do. That's how I originally did it before pugs demonstrated how to split pull them.

Maraudon is better for gold either way.
