Lil Timmy has an unlimited supply of [White Kitten]s

I just started on Nostalrius and had around 45 silver when I saw Lil Timmy. I thought - excellent, there is a few gold to get me started, if he still had his [White Kitten].

I ran up and he still had his [White Kitten] for sale, but it was 60s. I raced of and sold whatever I could to get another 20ish silver and then chased him back down and bought the [White Kitten], but... he still had it in stock after I bought it. That is when I realized it wasn't a limited stock item - Lil Timmy has an unlimited stock of [White Kitten]s!

This means they aren't near as rare or valuable. I know they went for as much as 100g in vanilla, but I threw it up in trade just trying to get 6g. A few minutes later I checked the AH and found a handful in there for less than 1g.

Is this a mistake? Do you mean for his inventory to be unlimited? Or should it match vanilla and only have 1 in stock?

If it was indeed a limited quantity item, it could potentially be a bug. Do you have evidence that cites it was a limited quantity item in patch 1.4 or prior?

I just assumed the majority of people who played alliance and some horde in vanilla would have known this to be true by personal experience. Considering that (per wowhead) he wasn't added until 1.11.1... no... there would be no evidence of anything prior to 1.4. However... seeing how he is in the game...

It's pretty obvious it is intended to be rare... he has a set path that lasts 8 min, he re-spawns randomly every 3 to 8 hours and there are a ton of guides listing him as an easy way to make some gold since the cat has gone for quite a bit on both the normal and cross faction AH.

I have no desire or intent to prove it is a bug.

My question was and is... 'did you do this on purpose or by mistake?' so that if it is by mistake, it can be fixed. or not. It's a pretty small bug in the long run.
