Glyph Chasing - Is this Quest working??

Hi , im doing the elite chain quest in Sillithus - ( Glyph Chasing )
Standing on one of the crystals right now and cant seem to take a sample.
Is this quest working? - Can i please have a response from a GM or somebody that is on the same quest

It sould'nt work, since this is WOW version 1.4 - Silithus quests was added sometime later as far I remember.
