Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Whenever I go on a boat or a zepplin, I arrive at the destination falling off the boat or zepplin. I asked around on world chat, and somebody told me this is because I'm playing this on a mac. Is this true, or is this a bug? Is there a fix? Another thing I notice is that occasionally, I can't go onto other chat channels, and have to login to another character to fix it. Is this also a bug?

It is a known bug on all private servers. The Mac client cannot handle the server response correct.

Some claim it is a client bug, but since it worked in retail, it must be some server bug.
