NEED ADMIN HELP FOR ACCOUNT ISSUE

Hi there,

This is an open letter to an admin or Nostal staff member who could help me with an account issue.

I'm having an issue with logging into Nostalrius, that seems to be limited exclusively to my account (my brother can still access nostalrius on my computer using his log in details). I have been able to play fine up until today, when i went to make an account for my brother on the same computer. Basically, when i go to log in, my account gets to the 'connected' prompt and then disconnects every time - i am able to log in with my brothers information however, so i know it isn't a realm issue or anything (i have nonetheless deleted both wbd folder and wtf folder, as well as checked and triple checked server info).

I have several possible theories for an administrator to check out, once they have verified my info.

1) I had a rollback hit while on character choose screen which may have glitched my account out somehow (unlikely)
2) I may have accidentally tried to create a new account under my email address while creating an account for my brother to play on, potentially leading to my account being blacklisted as a spam account? (semi likely)
3) I read on the forums that an IP address can have a maximum of 3 accounts - it is possible that i have accidentally created more than that amount leading to my account being deactivated (most likely).

or there is some unknown alternative reason i may be having this issue.

My ONLY PERSONAL account name is Rileyseyes, and my alliance character name is a 27 priest named Belukai - i'm an experienced player who just wants to play, definitely not a cheater, hacker, or someone who would obtain a ban for any reason - just a good mannered and well intentioned gamer who plays by the rules set by the server. I have also put time and effort into my character and it would be a huge shame if i was unable to recover it, or the legitimately earned items/gold on the account. - any other account associated with my ISP can be deleted (with the exception of my brothers one named below).

I am more than happy for the accounts other than my main account to be deleted as they are unused and were unintentional account creations by a technical noob.

My brothers NEW account name is Dirithsma, and i have used his level 1 warrior to create a ticket with a GM (yet to be answered) - this account, while registered on my computer, is intended to be used by my brother on his own computer when he gets home tomorrow.

UPDATE: Even weirder, i found that i can now log into the 'Player test realm', where a character i created and deleted off Nostalrius Begins is now sitting? very strange. However, i am still unable to log into nostalrius begins on my account.
Would very much appreciate any assistance you guys could give me, so i can get back to playing the game i love.

Update 2: i created another account while my main one was out, and had a server rollback while on it - when trying to log back into my MAIN account afterwards, it got the the character screen! however after choosing my character, it hung on the loading screen into game. after force quitting the application and trying to relog, it again came up with the 'connected' message then instant disconnect. Not sure whats going on here but definitely seems to be account related - nice to know my character hasn't been deleted though.

Please let me know if there is any further information you require to validate both my identity and sincerity.

Hey this is exactly the same issue I am having! I also have had over three people use my computer to log into their accounts (all friends that play too just borrowing my extra laptop). My girlfriend was using it last night and she had some minor rollback that DC'ed her and now she is having the exact same issue that you are. I can still log on to my account and access my characters but when she tries with her account she gets this disconnected from server bug. I have tried replacing everything and following all the steps but nothing works. Have you found a solution to this issue yet?

Thanks Daemon for replying.

My account however is still locked out, so the issue is unresolved. Should i wait further for a response - is the issue being investigated? just need some info to go on, i dont mind waiting if i know what is happening.
