Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So I am working on the Raene's Cleansing questline in Ashenvale on my paladin and I go to turn it in to Krolg as furbolg form. When I get the final step of the quest, where I have to turn in Ran Bloodtooth's Skull and Dartol's Rod of Transformation, it bugged out and the quest window disappeared. Now in my bags, I only have Dartol's Rod of Transformation and not Ran Bloodtooth's Skull. When I turn into furbolg form again, there is a grey quest marker over Krolg's head indicating I don't meet the requirements. However, I DO meet the requirements because I already turned the quest where it made me kill Ran Bloodtooth and the guards. So I can't just can't redo that quest and get Ran Bloodtooth's Skull again because I already turned in that quest! Please help!

Delete your WDB folder and make sure you have abandoned the quest.

this problem still exists. Any solution yet?

Be sure to be lvl 30. I turned in the kill Ran Bloodtooth quest, and could not pickup the following quest either, because I was still lvl 29.
