Greetings. I just tried to log in and was met by a windows telling me my accounts was banned.
I have no idea why. I did transfer some alliance gold to horde gold with a friend of mine earlier this day. Is this against the rules or what? If not, then I am really confused.
A fast answer would be appriciated.

Yes Tyrael, I saw that when I logged into my account on the website.
But the thing is, I never bought any gold. My birthday was 3 days ago and my friend wanted to give me a birthday present. And gifting gold through the factions isnt illegal right?
I mean, I am level 44. I have already bought the mount, a Phantom Blade and had a Helm of Fire in my backpack.
There is no reason for me to buy gold and risk getting banned? I have almost 5 days played on that character and I love playing this server. Please just investigate this further and dont jump to conclusions?
My friend plays on the alliance side. He wanted to give 200g for my birthday present. He transferred 100g from alliance toon to horde via the Auction House in Tanaris. Traded me the 100g and said that I could just post a few garbish greens on the Tanaris auction house and he could buy them and we would save some time.
So I posted 4 garbage greens for 29,5 gold each. And again, I had to reason to buy gold since I dont need anyhting until level 60.
I can provide you with any information you want. You can log into my Paypal/Skrill account and look at my sent payments or whatever and you will see that I never sent any money to anyone except for Steam.
I can provide you with any information to any chat program that you want so that you can see that I never chatted with anyone about buying any gold.
All I am asking is that you investigate this further and think about this. You can even remove my gold and send it back to my friend. Since it was a gift I wouldnt lose anything else then the gift it self.

I've been banned for buying gold as well, which I have not done. I don't even have enough gold on my character to raise alarm, so I am thoroughly confused as well
