Channels "/1 , /2" invisibles cause of language

So i just tried to install another version of 1.12.1 from another private server fr (Nostalgeek) just to play in Nostalrius with a French interface.
All works well. But there is an exception with the common channels (like generals, trade, etc..) .
I can write into it, i can see what i wrote but only me. I'm "alone".
I think i must change somewhere in the parameters an adress to redirect to the english canal. But i don't know where.
You are the debugger masters
so can you help me? (and also the little french commmunity who want to do like me , for a best game environment
