Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

The day after I dinged 60 I got the item Deathbone Legguards as you can see in the picture below.

Today I got a new tanking item from UBRS called Warmaster Legguards which you can see from the picture below

When equipping the items I noticed that I got LESS HP from using Deathbone Legguards (20 Stamina) and MORE HP from using Warmaster Legguards (15 Stamina). I fund this a bit weird and in some way funny, so I linked the two items to a friend of mine to check if I got something wrong. As you can see in the picture below I've linked both the items in the chat (which displays as blue color) but when he opens the item it appear as green and does not have Stamina stat at all on it. So in conclusion this item is bugged. On WoW websites the item is displayed as a blue item with 20 stamina and defense + which must then be the correct stats this item should have.

Delete your WDB folder and you should see the correct stats.

This has not anything to do with MY WDB folder. The item is simply wrong. I've stated that the item on WoW websites is blue and has 20 stamina. This is not only about what a player can see on the item, but the stats the item gives. It should NOT give 15 str 14 agy and 14 spirit. It should give 20 stam + defense according to different WoW websites. So in conclusion, the item is fake and has never existed on a WoW vanilla version.

Just about all of the loot from 5 man dungeons was massively buffed in patch 1.10 to the point where it was better than MC and some BWL gear for most classes. Nostalrius is using the original items stats until after the AQ40 release.

In later expansions blizzard added new non-raid items to the game every time new raid content was released. They did this so that players could 'catch up' to the current end-game raiding content without having to find a guild that is still raiding old content. They hadn't planned for this problem in vanilla so they just buffed all the pre-raid gear like crazy.

I have to say, its remarkable how you made it to level 60 completely unaware of the wow version you're playing on.

I just came here to laugh with everyone else. Remarkable, even with a sticky thread and GM response that spells out how to fix "Incorrect stats on items or gear."
