A Dark Threat Looms bugged!

I was just casually questing in Loch Modan. I was on the last stage of the quest chain: 'A Dark Threat Looms' where I had to disarm a bucket of gunpowder or something. While disarming it. I wanted to read the q text, and then suddenly: ''BOOM'' the bucket exploded right in my face. I went back to respawn there. But the quest was gone from my quest log and I couldn't interect with the bucket, or the questgiver. I tried relogging multiple times and deleting my WBD folder. I really want to complete this chain!
