Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello!
New to Nostalrius, and whenever i launch wow after the setup or from the desktop shortcut, the game will launch, and then minimize itself. whenever i try to open it or alt tab in, it'll just reminimize itself again, making me unable to play. any resolutions to this problem? Thanks

Go into your WTF folder and edit "Config.WTF".
Change the variables to the following before you start the game again:

SET hwDetect "1"
SET gxResolution "800x600"
SET gxWindow "1"

Update: this works, but it is in a smaller resolution then I would like and would prefer to play on a larger screen.
is that possible without this problem reoccuring? thank you though for at least getting it to work in the first place

Just change the resolution to whatever your monitor is at.

Tried this and still won't open and when it does i can't type in it
