To high for Klavens tower, the rogue q?

At lvl 20 i got the klavens tower q, got the key and went upstairs to pick lock the chest... damn my skill wasn't high enough... unfortunately i abandoned the q and forgot everything about it... but now i can't pick it up? still got the key but can't open the chest, tried that 10 min ago... what to do? forget about ever be able to use poison or is there something i can do?
