I think I just got banned?

So, I reset my password the other day, and i forgot what i reset it too.
derp right?
tried to reset pass/w and couldnt cause i played recently, anyway..
I typed in a bajillion things what I thought it was, and after too many failed attempts a message came up and said check a page saying banned.
How do I prove im not a hacker, just a forgetful idiot who forgot his pass/w

Nostalrius doesn't recover lost/hacked accounts. There's a security measure that temporarily IP bans an user if they've failed too many login attempts, the duration is ≈15 minutes but increases the more attempts you fail. The
password reset feature becomes available after the account has been offline for 24 hours or longer. Users has also claimed that there's a much longer cooldown on it after it's been used recently which I haven't been able to confirm yet. You'll just need to wait and continue attempting to use the password reset feature every 24 hours. The other option is to wait for a staff member to respond with further information as to account activity / status and how long you'll need to wait.
P.S: For the staff to assist you faster, edit your post and add your character name since client accounts & forum accounts aren't linked.
