Account banned ;(

Hey,

Yesterday, my brother was playing my Schaman and run some minutes in Arathi and creeped some Oger.

Dont know what he did but he got a dc and now is my account banned with reson "BOT".
Ok.. my brother is a jung dump guy but dont know what he did thats looks like a Bot^^

my Account was banned until yesterday evening, but he is still banned ;(

Dont know what a can do to unlock him

If any GM is able to unlock my Account "JostSturm"?
Would be awsome because i realy like to play on your server

and.. i will never let playing my little brother^^

Don't share your account with anyone and events such as these won't happen. Feel free to create a new account and scold your brother. It doesn't matter who was playing the account during an offense. The account is the entity that receives the punishment, not the current player or owner of the account. The owner is fully responsible to ensure that their account abides by the Terms of Use.

Cheating and account sharing

You may not purchase, sell, gift, share or trade any account, or offer to purchase, sell, gift, share or trade any account, and any such attempt shall be made null and void.
As a reminder, a Nostalrius staff member will never ask you for your account name nor password. Please, never share your login information. We will not recover characters, equipment or gold from a shared account. Never delete your character "by accident".

The player is responsible for his own account safety. You should:

• Have a complicated password;
• Never share your account details;
• Connect yourself from a safe place;
• Never download unsafe files that might contain keyloggers.

In-game Sanctions
E - Permanent ban.: Most serious sanction. Permanent bans are rare but definitive. This sanction is applied in case of multiple violations of the rules, or after multiple account interruption, as well as any of the following:

Examples:

• Hacking;
• Using any botting program;
• Abuse of major in-game bugs;
• Possession of any item(s) obtained with illegal methods;
• Any client modification (libraries, executables, MPQ, etc.);
• Revealing the identity of a Nostalrius Begins staff member;
• Advertising for other private servers or gold selling websites;
• Selling/Buying accounts, gold, items or any ingame services with real money;
• Publishing a software, methods or articles on cheating which can be applied on the server.

Aha ok, i think this will be a little overdone.....

He played on my pc... while i was out of house to buy something...

And i didnt use a bot software.... also a perma ban for this incident is perhaps to heavy

You're not going to get an answer from a GM. You shared your account, and your "brother" botted while you were not there.

How is that going to stand up to the GM's? They have no way of proving that it wasn't actually you on the account at the time.

Man up, quit crying, and make a new account.

I think we're witnessing a resurgence in the "my brother" phenomenon. We had a good run from May through June where there were hardly any "my brother" excuses, but they've started popping up again.
