Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello,

Ok so the situation is I currently have a lvl 60 bear named "Thistle Bear" as my pet, where I should have my lvl 60 thistlebear named Fuzzywuzzy. I am unable to abandon this "Thistle Bear" pet, nor can I effectively stable it, meaning I am unable to tame any new pets or switch out existing pets. This happened yesterday after the latest patch was launched. I think the order of what I did was.
Either summoned or dismissed my pet,
spoke to a stable master and stabled my pet "Fuzzywuzzy",
entered Alterac valley,
found a lvl 51 Wolf,
Started taming it,
recieved the message that I already had an active pet,
used "call pet" and this is when the lvl 60 "Thistle bear" popped out.

It doesnt have the same stats as my actual bear pet and the "Pet" tab is missing in my character screen. I've uploaded a couple pics of what it looks like from the stable. Please help I dont want to be stuck with a blank bear pet for the rest of the game!

Bump, would really like this looked at as I can't raid with a shitty little bear. And if it happened to me, possible can happen to others.

Got the same bug and applied on butracker i wish to know if will be faster deleting char and making another one or wait for solving it.Thx

Most likely what is happening is that as a hunter entering a BG, the game wants to force you to have a pet so it calls your most recent active pet to the BG. I'll test this soon and see if I can reproduce / confirm it so it can be fixed.

I think its a part of a larger hunter pet problem. I have heard a lot of different complaints since the AV patch about pets not functioning properly, and mine have been acting really weird too. I posted in another support thread about it, but they basically can't/won't learn their class skills, and the ones I've previously learned such as Charge and Shell Shield are no longer in my Beast Training book, and taming pets with these abilites won't readd it into the training book. Also whenever I call my pet or zone into an instance, it says his loyalty changes but it doesn't appear to.

an what happens if the hunter has no pet at all?

Thanks for replying, I cant report this bug on the Tuleap bugtracker site as my account isnt registering (not getting sent activation email) nor can I find a workable link that lets me email their PM support. The one I used wouldnt send the email through. Hope to hear back on this if you figure it out or maybe can just directly find a way to delete my pet, as I wont be able to be useful for raiding with my broken pet. (need wolf pet howl lol)

Please check your spam folder, nearly all Tuleap emails get forwarded there by default. You can add the address you received from Tuleap to your contacts to keep the emails from defaulting to your spam folder.

Yeah don't worry about tuleap, checking my junk folder and block list was first thing I did can't see the email or find where on the list the sender might be blocked. So long as the issues is being looked into and will hopefully get patched then thats fine with me and I'll keep an eye on this thread. I'd even be happy with just having my bugged pet deleted if such a thing was possible.
