Naw, i get all the way to the realm selection list, then get the Connected prompt at the character creation screen. But before it fullly loads so that i might create a character, i get disconnected.

Yes, the servers are up and running hundreds of people are in and experience zero lag.
Although, their login server is getting bombarded and not reacting as it should. That's why they're actually (according to FB post) working hard to fix the problem.

Ah, just like i remember vanilla times, or more recentrly whit WoD release, the joy of Blizzard-like is here people! all people fighting to play in the game lets have all fun when possible!
