Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I am a lvl 10 Troll Hunter attempting to obtain my pet through the Taming the Beast quest. However, the second part of the quest is requesting me to tame a surf crawler. I have watched videos, read forums, and had a lvl 60 friend try it. It wont let me tame the surf crawler. PLEASE if there is anything you can do give it a look.

Congrats on making an outstanding server and a solid community. I am a first wow'er and very impressed with the players within it.

Having the same issue, but with Night Elf and the Nightsaber Stalkers... was this ever resolved?

If you already have a pet, right click on it's portrait and dismiss it. If you don't have one, log out, open your WoW Classic folder, and delete the WDB folder, then relog and see if it lets you tame it.
