Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I have found this quest to be impossible to complete. In order to begin the quest you have to obtain the necessary quest materials from behind the quest giver, Anastasia, in the Undercity. While right clicking on the materials will cause the completion bar to appear and fill as normal, upon completion the chests or scrolls will open as if you were looting them, but no loot window will appear. Attempting to right click an open chest or scroll will have the game tell you that that item is in use. Any advice or aid would be much appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
