Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I got the official download from mega.co.nz, replaced the realmlist, and have been playing just fine, except for one small annoyance: A string of ellipses appears in lots of locations in my UI where text should be. Places it appears include the top of the minimap where the zone name should be, my character window where my character's name should be, at the top of each of my bag's windows, and in AtlasLoot entries. I have 2-3 addons, but the game had this problem before I got any of them. I also used the same exact download that some of my friends used, but they do not have this issue. I have tried uninstalled and reinstalling to no avail. Suggestions?

I was actually able to fix this finally! It turns out the problem was my UI scale. I had the slider positioned about halfway between the U and the I at 1920x1080 res, and I guess that caused the text to not fit properly or something. One tick on either side of my preferred setting works just fine. So this topic can be locked now.

This is good info. I've seen similar threads like this before and the solution has always been to delete folders, uninstall/reinstall, etc. I'll make a note to amend my sticky with this new development.
