Game not opening

I have had this problem with Excalibur as well. So I am imagining that it is something on my end. Whenever i open any private server it opens for a second with a click screen then minimizes. I can alt tab to it, but it will just be a black screen and sound for 2 seconds then it will re minimize. Anyone know what i am doing wrong?

Open the Config.wtf file in the WTF folder and change the gxResolution property to 800x600, save, see if it makes a difference.
