Quest Incompletable: Curing the Sick (Alliance)

The Druid quest Curing the Sick is bugged, at least for the alliance. You have to use the Curative Animal Salve on the Sickly Deer in Darkshore and that works without trouble. But when you have to turn it in at the quest giver in Moonglade, you get stuck. Even though the quest is marked as complete in the log, you can't turn it in. The question mark above the quest giver is silver.

I am also experiencing this issue, tried dropping the quest and completing it again. Same issue both times
I'm afraid I'll forever be a gimped Druid who is unable to cure poison

Please try the following:
1) Abandon the quest and retake it.
2) Close game client, delete your WDB folder, try to complete it.

I did exactly that and no it did not work... the quest is completed but the npc has a grey question mark over his head.
