Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi! Just downloaded the client from this link: http://www.reddit.com/r/Nostalrius/comm ... _up_guide/ for my Mac. Within the folder, in order, are 13 items:
Background Downloader
Data
Documentation
Errors
Interface
Logs
Patch.html
Patch.txt
realmlist.wtf
WDB
World of Warcraft (application)
World of Warcraft Install Log.html
WTF

So what I have done so far is I've deleted the WDB folder each time I open the application, but each time I do that I just get a black screen and the only thing that happens is my mouse icon becomes the wow one. I have left it on that screen for half an hour before, but still nothing. There really are no easily accessible good guides for this out there so I would love it if someone could figure out what has gone awry here. Thanks!

Check your WTF folder and see if a "Config" file exists in there. If so, see what the gxResolution property is set to. I seem to recall something about changing it to be 800x600.

We fixed this problem by changing the display resolution in the system preferences of our mac.
