Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So I have been camping Humar for quite a long time now. Now that I finally found him I was unable to tame him. When trying to use my tame beast skill on him I get the "invalid target" error. Clearly the problem with taming Humar was that for some reason it wasn´t a "beast" - it wouldn´t show on beast tracking and scare beast didn´t work on him either.

I immediately put a ticket up in game. After waiting for half an hour another hunter came by with the same intention, but he too was facing the same problem as we talked about it for a while. After a while this hunter suddenly started taming him and succeeded.I asked him how he did it and his answer was to "del wdb and wtf".

So there was no way I could have known that was the solution. Even now I have no idea if it actually works IF I actually manage to find him again: The place is usually crowded with hunters and other rare spawn campers. In the process I had to abandon my current pet too.

In the end this technical problem cost me many hours of game time and effort, I would really appreciate if a GM could compensate this by letting me get the humar I deserved.

Other than the different look of humar, do his stats make this worthwhile?

For me Humar has been the obvious choice from the beginning, mainly because of the looks and secondly the attack speed.

So how could I get in contact with a GM about this?
