Settings reset every time I restart WoW

So basically what it says in the title.

It started yesterday, I have no installed any additional addOns or anything of such since the problems started. So basically every time I log in and start up WoW, I get the cinematics, resolutions are set to the standard, and addOns and every interface setting is back to default.
I have un-ticked the read-only box in the properties of the wow.exe file, as someone instructed me to do while asking ingame, but it "ticks" itself back every time I start up the file.
I know this isn't a huge problem, but it is kind of annoying having to reset everything back to normal each time I log on. Anybody got some tips or have experienced this before?

Cheers,
Eman

try changing the folder you've put the game in.

like making a new folder and moving the data. Getting out of read-only can be annoying on certain machines... also try running wow.exe as an administrator.

Move the game out of Program Files. Put it in C:\Games or something.

Follow the instructions in the sticky threads for either moving the WoW folder out of the Program Files directory or run WoW as an administrator.
