GAME CRASHES when it starts up. PLEASE HELP

I have downloaded everything correctly and I have a very good gaming computer with the graphics card drivers up to date, yet my game still crashes when I try to start it up. When I start it up, a black screen (the game) pops up as if it's loading, then it automatically crashes and puts me back to my desktop. Then when i click my game to open it back up it does the same thing and spits me right back to my desktop. I don't know what to do, my computer has done this to every private server i've tried to join. I removed retail wow just in case that was interfering in some way but it wasn't. I used to play private servers all the time and now it won't let me play any, I dont know why, please help, thank you.

Try any of the solutions posted in any of these. The culprit seems to be the Config.wtf file in the WTF folder, change the gxResolution to 800x600 and see if that solves it.
