repeating initial video when executing wow...

by xysko » Sat Aug 01, 2015 6:30 pm

Hi, I have a problem at opening wow. I have been playing for some months but, suddenly, today I just opened the game and it showed the initial video, then I watched, I inserted my account, and once ingame the screen resolution and some interface, addons and sound options had changed. Then I returned them to my personal configuration, I closed the game and again the configuration automatically changed to original. So, now, every time I execute wow it automatically change. Anyone have the same problem? How to solve?

Thx for your time reading and answering.

Is WoW installed to your Program Files (x86) folder? If so, it might be preventing changes from being made when you login and logout.

Browse to C:\Program Files (x86), select the "World of Warcraft Classic" folder, right click and select "Cut." Move it out of the Program Files folder and paste it directly on your C: drive so the path reads "C:\World of Warcraft Classic." Open Wow.exe, login, and see if you can change any settings and logout without them reverting.
