Have you checked your spam folder for the confirmation e-mail? I got mine almost immediately.

Did you try registering an account using a Gmail address? I've heard that has the best success of registering.

I've gone through the mail almost by the hour, nothing.

Yet another quest found that even has quest mobs unavailable ingame, but account still pending.

.. and now it works! Adding the artifacts.
