IF Leatherworking trainer

So, I'm trying to learn ANY recipe from Fimble Finespindle in Ironforge, to no avail. I've paid the fee 4 times already... he makes the animation, but doesn't tech me anything.
I've disabled all addons, and nothing.
Tried submitting a bug report in-game and won't let me.
I ended up going to Stormwind to learn the patterns.
Anyone else having this issue?

Close your client, delete your WBD folder and try again. That fixes the problem 99% of time. If you do not learn the recipe at first attempt, do not waste money by trying to learn it again.

I'm bumping this topic because I'd just like to take a moment to confirm both this bug and the proposed solution. For some reason, deleting my WDB folder actually did fix this, so if anyone else is having any trouble purchasing something from the NPC known as Fimble Finespindle, just delete your WDB folder and that'll fix it no problem.
December 26th Edit:
I take it back. Deleting the WDB after deleting it the first time did nothing. Fimble Finespindle continued to take my money without giving me a recipe after learning Journeyman Leatherworking. As a workaround, I'm just plain avoiding him from now on. He won't get any more of my money!
