So we were farming devilsaur in Un´goro and then this drood shows up doing insane dmg out of his Catform

I haven't got a video of him, but he was in Nelf form, hitting with cat abilities, got a screenshot of my combat log though.

Well, there is definitely something wrong with his damage that is for sure, since he seems to be doing 200% more damage than normal (Shred hits for 950 on leather? rofl). But he's actually not "out of catform", I know it looks like that, but if you read in your combat log you can see he's using catform abilities.

What might have happened is that he has been mindcontrolled by an npc, such as Balnazzar in Strat live, this will commonly bug up catform so you are "stuck" in catform, even though it looks like you are running around in casterform. There are several different npc mindcontrols that bug druid forms, Baroness Anastasia in Strat UD and Magister Kalendris in DIre Maul west also fucks up feral forms so you look like you are in casterform, even though you are actually still stuck in your animal form and can't shift out.

Notice how he doesn't shapeshift out of your entangling roots, this means he's probably afflicted by the bug and can't shapeshift at all. Also, some mindcontrolling bosses significantly amplify your damage output when you are mindcontrolled, to make you more dangerous in the instance.

If he simply does a full relog it should fix the bug. That won't help you of course if he just neglects to log out. The developers should get their shit together and fix this bug.

He kept doing it for 2+ hours, if you're afflicted by a bug and don't want to abuse it, why wouldn't you restart the client in that amount of time.
Which to the four of us he attacked, seems like pretty intentional bug abuse.

He hit our mage for 3750 dmg, which seem like too much dmg, even for a crit.

So, the player is abusing of a bug to get advantage in pvp combat....and when receive a ban, will start the T.T
