General chat problem

sometimes i experience that i cannot write in /1 .. it simply does not bring up the channel in chat
it occured for me also when i had a fresh installation with no addons

Oh good, it wasn't just me.
I have this problem as well..
Fixes that I've done is deleting my WTF folder, which works. However, I'm not going to do that every single time I want to talk in general...

yes relogging works.. but it wont solve the problem servervise : )

I have a chat bug. Buttons like combat log or any new windows are unclickable, any solutions? No addons installed.

Greetings,
if you have a non-English client, the general chat won't work. If you do have an English-client and still have issues, here are two fixes:
1. Type /leave Channelname then /join Channelname
-this fixes the issue of double-presence on a channel after a disconnect which prevents you from talking in channels though you can still see them.
2. Delete the chat cache file inside your WTF folder
-this restores all your chat settings to default and should fix problems with chat window colors and size, buttons and so on. Note that you do not need to delete the whole WTF folder!

+1 to the pottu altho guys if ask someone by yelling or whispering any 60ish siting or afk or lieying dead nearby they will answear u almost anything that was my way of solving problems the past 4 months
just keep spamming the 60ish guys they are the voodoo of wow...old sealed spirits of the old know...hidden knowledge inside there heads

I reinstalled the entire damn server and it still crashes randomly.
