Noob here. My first wow experience, introduced by my cousins.

I messed up though! - trying to fix it quick. Being honest and up front accepting the risk.

I just purchased 50G from "a website" [edited for privacy info] (thought I was funding your server, until I saw the seller's name listed as ***** ****** [edited for privacy info], which looked suspicious). I found out right after that gold purchase, via PayPal, through further reading that it is against the rules to buy gold for your server in a post by "Viper". So I opened up a dispute in PayPal and have since received a refund [edited, resolved].

Let me know what I can do to remain in good standing with your operations [edited, resolved]. Original intent was to pick the gold up to design a guild tabard for me and the cousins to wear when we play.

Furthermore if there is a way to donate to your ops let us know as the family and I have had countless hours of free fun so far together on your server.

Ouch, sounds pretty tough, that. I do hope you get your money refunded. Seeing as you're stating this while your account isn't banned yet, I hope most will agree that you're coming to us with honesty. If you do receive the 50 gold via ingame mail, I suggest you don't touch the gold, and rather just return the letter, along with the gold that was attached in it.

The GMs should notice that you aren't accepting the gold, and "technically" it'll mean you didn't buy any gold, because you didn't receive any. Of course, I don't know for sure, but I have at least some faith in the server staff to tell right from wrong.

Seeing as you did not receive the gold yet and initiated the refund process, I can't imagine you would qualify for a one-time ticket to see the ban hammer up close.

However, if the gold appears in your mailbox, I think like Shadowx93ca mentioned before me that you should not touch it and simply return or destroy the mail and its content.

If you receive the money in-game please open a GM ticket right away asking to delete the golds (and don't touch the amount of golds received). System might ban you at first, but GMs will be able to lift the ban after.

As a reminder, for those who already received/used golds without warning us at first, ban shall remain permanent.
