2 accounts: one leveling, the other playing the ah, legal?

Before getting banned I would like to know if I can multibox like this: leveling on one account WHILE playing the ah (meaning buying and selling) on the other account.

If the answer is no, is it possible to just scan without trading on the secondary account?

Having your character use the Auction House while playing on another character is considered multiboxing and will result in either a “Last Warning” or a permanent ban if you had been previously warned about multiboxing. We would highly recommend you do not do this and instead just log in to one character at a time.

Trading items between accounts.
Professions, as long as no farming is involved;
i.e. You can have two characters ingame simultaneously for crafting, enchanting, or trading purposes.

According to the ToU it should be allowed, according to this GM it's not. We are still waiting for some clarification there ..
