Item restoration: Wand of Biting Cold

by Kentack » Mon Aug 31, 2015 9:03 pm

Greetings and salutations,

During the weekend the Alterac Valley quest "The Legend of Korrak" was bugged for me. The quest suddenly disappeared from my quest log and the quest giver would only give me the follow up quest, therefore making the rewards from the first quest unobtainable for a few days. It has now reappeared in my quest log, however.

If I could provide proof of having killed Korrak on my character during this time, would it be possible to send me the Wand of Biting Cold from the quest? I was told to create a thread on this section of the forums regarding this issue, and seeing how it is possible with raid items I figured I'd give it an attempt and ask since it is a somewhat time consuming quest to complete.

Please see the links below for proof of the kill:

This happened on my Horde undead mage, Kentack, on the Nostalrius Begins server. Korrak was killed by the Horde at 7:50 - 7:51 PM as shown in the last screenshot linked above. This kill happened on Sunday the 30th of August 2015. I can't provide a full list of all the raid members that attended this AV, but a couple can be seen in the party window to the left.

Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Kentack

Lots of people have had this problem lately, and even the other thread (viewtopic.php?f=45&t=20074&hilit=korrak) has received no reply from a GM. They might fix the quest itself, but they probably won't just give you the item from the rewards. They won't restore any loot that isn't raid epic in quality, and especially not loot that you haven't even received.
The level of whining about bans on the forums is at an all time industrial level.

Thanks for the reply.

All one can do is hope I guess. Figured it's better to ask than to never know. :-)
