Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

In a DM N run today, I tried to MC specific mobs like I usually do, only to have MC break after about 5 seconds. I'd get off 2-3 attacks with the MC'd unit, then the MC would just spontaneously end.

Yes, I know MC has a range. I made it a point to not move the MC'd unit at all, so it should not be breaking due to range.

It did work fine a couple times, but in a single run I had three MC's spontaneously break within seconds. Terrible RNG, or ninja hotfix breaking something?

I haven't encountered this bug personally, but yesterday I was in Darnassus with a horde friend and another horde priest who mindcontrolled people and npc's that I attacked (for fun). I noticed that even after the mindcontrol had ended, I could still autoattack the target that was supposed to become friendly again. Of course I didn't kill people while this bug occurred, but mind control seems very buggy in general

Yeah, that happened a couple times as well. I MC'd a Reaver, used it to attack the Warlock, and even after the MC broke, the Reaver and Warlock were still attacking each other for another 5 seconds or so.

And one time when I MC'd one of the Warlock mobs, the MC buff did not appear in my buff list...I couldn't cancel MC.

Shit's buggy as fuck, yo.

Isn't MC supposed to spontaneously break sometimes - like fear? I think it's RNG. One thing I noticed though is I can't buff MC'd mobs/players. Back when I played a priest in BC retail, this was possible; it would break the MC effect but the spell would still land. Can't do this with the current scripting....did they add this later orrrr?

Mobs in DM, particularly ogres, have unusually high resistances, unsure if this is proper or not but it's definitely a thing.

From memory, doesn't a warlock's Curse of Shadow help MC stick?
