Trade scammed

I got scammed by a player named "Banktakfest" on my bank character "Pankkijaba" about ~5days ago.

A GM directed me here, so here goes:

I was selling my Fiery War Axe and we agreed on a price of 90g, then I opened a trade with him. I traded the item and he traded 90g, just after i pressed accept the price changed from 90g --> 9g. After this he went immediately offline and ignored all my messages/whispers. Now he has it in AH for 100g. I assume he was using some kind of a macro or script.

If you have access to my characters whisper/chat logs, you can confirm that we agreed on the price above.

He just took the 0 out. You got played, and the GMs won't do anything about it. If it was a hack, they probably would've banned him already.

I feel for ya pal. Be that as it may, I still think that this incident should not be intervened by a GM. Get him blacklisted instead.

OP might be in luck. Viper recently amended the Terms of Use to now include permanent banning for scammers.

Update:
* Scamming and COD Scamming will now lead to a permanent ban, including all the accounts involved in this kind of behaviour.
* Buying/Selling player name will now lead to a permanent ban.
* Exchanging accounts, gold, items, or any ingame services for another game's features will now lead to a permanent ban.
