Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I am unable to hand in the quest "Bungle in the Jungle" even though i have all 6 items and my quest log says the quest is completed. The npc has a grey question mark above his head and the dialogue has a greyed out complete quest.

Abandoning the quest and re-accepting it seemed to fix it. But ive run into the same issue and solution for the 5 blasted land buff quests as well.
